Hui's Healing Approach

Education and Licensure

Hui is a Licensed Acupuncturist (Lic.Ac.) in the state of Massachusetts, board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Since 2022, she has been trained in both Chinese and Japanese-style acupuncture, as well as cupping therapy, Gua Sha, moxibustion, and herbal medicine. She gained comprehensive clinical experience from rotations at the New England School of Acupuncture (now part of MCPHS), Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and Boston Medical Center (Family Medicine and Pediatrics).

Background

Born and raised in Malaysia and fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay, Hui's deep passion for healing and humanitarian work started early. Before committing to Eastern Medicine, she was an actuarial analyst at Liberty Mutual.

A long-time volunteer with the Tzu Chi Foundation, Hui has been privileged to join medical and charity missions across Michigan, Boston, Mexico, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Her own journey, healing from fatigue and menstrual irregularities after years of burnout, led her to pursue acupuncture.

From this experience, she discovered a powerful truth: a vital, happy, and energetic life is possible for everyone. Pain, fatigue, and discomfort are simply messengers inviting us to bring the body back into harmony, support, and balance. The body possesses the innate wisdom to heal and thrive.

She is excited to bring her blend of compassion, clinical expertise, and diverse therapeutic tools to support your personal healing journey.
